Mykolaiv Pilot Projects
Mykolaiv Industrial Park
The Mykolaiv Industrial Park is a sustainable, versatile hub supporting key sectors like logistics, tech agriculture, and manufacturing. It serves as a crucial pilot project within the city-wide Concept Masterplan led by One Works, under the UNECE UN4UkranianCities initiative. This new park is strategically designed to foster innovation, drive industrial growth, enhance economic opportunities and technological advancements thereby supporting a swift recovery following the conflict.
The new industrial park is set to become a dynamic hub of innovation and industry, driving economic growth and technological advancements in the region. From an architectural perspective, the development is designed with cutting-edge aesthetics and functionality, featuring state-of-the-art facilities that blend modern design with operational efficiency.
Part of the UN4UkrainianCities initiative led by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and the “Deep Blue Transition for Mykolaiv” Programme implemented by the Ukrainian Association of Business Support Centers (UABSC) with support from the European Union and UN Development Programme “Mayors for Economic Growth” initiative, the project underscores international cooperation in rebuilding Ukraine’s urban fabric to support economic recovery.
These pilot projects focus on areas such as housing and regeneration, aiming to formulate tangible solutions through collaboration with architects, engineers, and international consultants. Learning from each project will influence broader city development. This approach develops real solutions, informs local capacities and policies, and fosters a connection between local and international professionals, enhancing long-term resiliency in Mykolaiv.
