The Blue Jacket Awards 2025
Oneworks Foundation celebrated the second edition of the Blue Jackets Award, an internal initiative created to recognise the creativity, collaboration, and innovation of our project teams. This year, 14 teams across our offices presented projects, ranging from hospitality design to advanced BIM technologies. Four outstanding projects were selected by the jury, composed of Simone Contini and Samuel Cima from Vuoto Futuro, Massimo De Nardi, Oneworks Ambassador of Inclusion, our Operating Manager Alessia Macchiavello and Director Silvia Botti.
Best Project is awarded to Uzeyir Gasimov, Elisabetta Aimi, and Marta Contini. Through distinctive architectural choices and spatial solutions, their project redefines the very concept of a bus depot. The project also embraces circular economy principles, incorporating rainwater harvesting systems and sustainable energy solutions.
Best Presentation(s) are awarded to Stefano Ruzzon, Fabio Muraro, Andrea Acciarino, and Sofia Vandelli for their clear and comprehensive explanation of complex BIM processes, spanning from data acquisition to validation and management across the building’s entire life cycle.
Oneworkers’ Award goes to Fabrizio Volpe, Mattia Buonriposi, Florencia Lostri, Emanuel Brenpong, Javier Martínez-Tafalla, Duanduan Ding, Carlotta Contoli, Leo Rui, and Irene Chegai for the Vilnius Terminal Expansion Tender. A well-deserved recognition from your fellow Oneworkers.
Across all the projects presented, several common themes clearly emerged: a strong relationship with the city and its residents, the requalification of existing resources, circularity, integration of greenery and photovoltaic systems, and lastly the strategic use of BIM to enhance design quality and performance.
